Updated: Member365 - The AMS no one has heard of - Probably for a reason.

Updated Review:
After trying to work with Member365 for around a year and a half, we learned that their system functionality (although appearing to have a nice user experience), consisted of lots of broken functionality. Their support team went back and forth with our team on workflows that were broken, customization that didn't exist or didn't work, with hundreds of emails, support calls, and more troubleshooting for over a year.
Without getting into specifics, as it would expose who our association is, we were forced off of Member365 due to some shady tactics that probably were illegal. However, we didn't have the bandwidth nor did we want to pursue legal action as we were simply "done" with their team. We came to learn that the company is managed by two brothers, a handful of support/ customer service folks, and a clear lack of developers (or they outsource all of their development). I've never had such a poor experience with an AMS software in my decade of association management.
Don't be fooled by the "looks" (user experience and admin experience), there is a lot of bad programming and broken functionality that they gave up on fixing. Be cautious of shady business practices. I originally made this review when we first onboarded with Member365 and it looked great and seemed to function. However, once our data was rolling and we tried to use the different functionality (modules), things started to break, we were told that it couldn't be customized, or that's "just the way it works". When I say we have hundreds of emails of back and forth, that's not an exaggeration.
Lastly, the other organization we moved to Member365 was moved off within one year due to all of the same issues we ran into.
Previous Review:
After lots of research, we came across Member365 as an AMS option for another association that we manage. I evaluated tons of different AMS solutions trying to keep within a certain budget. My final 2 were between Member365 and NeonCRM. Both had lots of great features and to be honest, I don't remember the reason why we went with Member365 but we did.
All of the customization you can dream of, only if you can learn it. Their support team is fantastic with teaching and helping you learn their system. When you want to do things a certain way, there is normally a checkbox or toggle that needs to be turned on and you just need to know where to look for it.
Overall, their pricing is much lower than other companies with them normally willing to waive any onboarding fees. The have a user / member facing Member Portal that members can self-serve and look up information like a Membership Directory, Job Board/ Post Jobs, access "Workspaces" (similar to a forum), access a File Library, Member Benefits section, Forms, Store. LOTS of options and goodies.
We have been so impressed by the software, pricing, and their customer service that we are moving another association we manage to their system.

Not what it claims to be. A broken system with a pretty face.

My prior reviewed was too soon to post early on in our usage of Member365. The system is terribly broken and the company and owner refused to fix any actual programming bugs. The company is run by 2 brothers and a handful, literally a few, other individuals who don't know the system or how to set things up. Like many software companies, they promise and say it can do, this, this, and that but once you get your data into their system, they go back on those promises and say that they never said it could. I am blown away by the unprofessionalism from their staff and owners. Within merely a year of using the platform and having our membership renewals not work properly, entire memberships disappeared from the system, organizations with attached employees would drop off completely and be left in a purgatory type space in the system, we left Member365. This system was so bad that we didn't leave to another software, we left it entirely, took our data out (which was another huge headache and the company refused to help) and manually did membership renewals until we found a new system.
I don't want other associations to go through what we went though. This was not just a bad experience, this was by far the worst and most broken software system I have ever seen in my life. They have no developers on staff, no matter what they claim. Stay far away from this company, don't be enticed by the cheaper costs and ability to negotiate some 'waived' fees. Their software does not work as they claim. It doesn't even handle basic individual memberships well nor emails.
