We switched over to trade from pro and it was the worst decision made. We were told many things that turned out not to be the case and it was such a downgrade. Reports are not accurate. Memberships just don't make sense and if you're lucky enough to get a response from customer service, everyone will give you a different answer... Somehow no one knows anything and nothing can ever be fixed. Prepare for lots of manual work and a life of work arounds.

When we first implemented MemberClicks in 2018 it for us like a glove for our needs. Their technical support was second to none and their functionality was flawless. If there were any issues, they were quick to get them resolved. Fast-forward to 2021 when we are acquired by personify. Their service went down the drain, they had a 100% staff turnover for support, and now it takes days to get a response, if you get a response. as a result, we are now looking for another AMS to replace them.

Over three years ago, helped our small organization move away from a paper/mail/fax approach to membership and event management. Customer service is extremely poor - talking DAYS to respond to email/chatbot inquiries. Product lacks intuition, work-flow, user experience (from our Association members) is challenging and difficult. Creation of new events and communications is challenging - event registration and public facing content must be re-created, management of member and non-member profile is time consuming and the system doesnt recognize duplications easily. MC Professional may help your organized with basic functionality to launch, it has not stayed on par with a growing association (less than 10 staff, less than $1m budget).

We looked like we had at least 3 or 4 people working at our org. Eventually, I wanted to do more in terms of learning platforms, conference registration, volunteer management. Technically, these things were all possible, but they couldn't be customized to our case use. Instead, I felt like I had to rig the system to get what I wanted. We ended up getting add-ons and other systems to use with Memberclicks. 

You may outgrow it, but its a great way for a small staff to look like a fully mature association

We are currently using Memberclick AMS (Oasis) and LMS. This is our first AMS that we have ever used, so I don't have anything to compare it to. The customer service is great at Memberclicks. Our concerns are addressed, fixed, in a quick and professional manner. Having said that, the Memberclick team knows my employee by first name. We have had a lot of issues reguarding integrating the AMS with the LMS. 

Both the AMS and LMS (and their integration) is clunky. It seems that one has to check three boxes on the AMS and one box on the LMS for the system to run smoothly (all in different locations in the software). If one forgets to check one of the "boxes" then the integration will not work correctly. 

Now, we are back to the drawing board to see if we can find a better running AMS/LMS. 

If you are looking for a reasonably priced AMS, want to set it up, and leave it alone- this may work for you. But, we have a lot of in-person, online, and hybrid events with the need to track training credits for our members. The Memberclick staff are great, but their platform needs updating.

If you are considering MemberClicks because of it's low price point or repuatation for service - save yourself the heartache and stay away! The staff at MC are great and the help team do their best, but at a basic level the software does not work well, is not intuitive, and does not perform super basic functions that your and your staff will need to accomplish. This product is extremely time consuming for staff and very difficult for members to use as well. The best service in the world cannot make up for the total lack of functionality.
