iMIS

Our small not-for-profit organization has been using iMIS desktop for over 20 years. It has been a near perfect experience.  I trust iMIS to be reliable, stable, and provide the data as we need it.  As we near the end of life for the desktop version, we made the decision to stick with the software that has had our back for two decades and upgrade to the EMS version.  After comparing the 'leading' AMS solutions, iMIS was the clear winner for our needs.  I look forward to continuing our partnership.

iMIS provides Excellent data integrity and reporting. We have used it for years through all the different versions. 

One of the things I really like is how easy it is to build new reports using IQA. You don’t have to be a tech expert to be able to filter your data to get a clean, custom report. The templates make everything look consistent and clean without any extra effort. I also really appreciate how simple it is to create different forms. Whether you’re collecting info from the public, getting feedback, or setting up registrations, the form tools make the whole process pretty smooth. Overall, iMIS just makes things easier. It helps you stay organized, communicate better, and get the data you need without the hassle.

Since using iMIS, our membership database is much easier to manipulate, and our future projects will be endless!

I like that iMIS is continually improving. The addition of a Pay Invoice link in renewal notifications makes dues payments much faster for members, and displaying term dates on invoices is another helpful enhancement that keeps everything clear and organized.

The iMIS is the best software I have in my life. it works very fast and accuratly.

IMIS has worked well for our one-employee non-profit to manage our membership, plan and execute event registration and maintain communications. Their customer service is highly responsive and helpful. With the proper assistance and/or training the site can be highly customized on the database side to assist will all sorts of IQAs, integrations and other features.  The public facing website is easy to edit and maintain.

The Good:

iMIS is a complete platform to build on with many out the box features. The 3rd party support for iMIS is excellent, with many highly skilled partners to support customers and provide additional features and integrations to the platform. As a data guy, being able to build complex queries using IQAs easily and then use those IQAs to generate reporting based on our data is powerful. Data entry is also made easy with form builder plus.

The Bad:

RiSE, the website building tool, can be a bit of a learning curve and lacks user-friendly design tools.  While Rise works great for advanced users inserting their own HTML/CSS, a drag-and-drop website builder would be excellent for less advanced users.

What requirments iMIS fulfills:

iMIS allows us to manage and bill our membership efficiently, host events, provide a website and self-service member portal and manage our email communications.

The transition to iMIS has been great. Having the ability to build relationships with your implementation team so that they really understand your needs and can help problem solve has probably been the best part of our experience. They respect the budget we set forward, and while they educate us about how their other products would help, there is no pressure to purchase anything and stay within the parameters you have set. They have been incredible cheerleaders for our organization and staff throughout this process.

The software itself is great. Our organization has been on the hunt for something that really does it all, and I think we have found it with iMIS. We can manage our memberships, sponsorships, conferences, education, and more all in one space and there is no fear that we will outgrow the software as our Association grows.

Implementation is a bit daunting, but the support you receive from the team helps a lot. It can also be quite technical with queries and reporting, but once you figure it out, it's not so bad. There are a ton of online resources available.

iMIS is helping us to create a ton of efficiencies in our processes that are going to benefit both internal and external members. We have also been able to preserve all of our historical data in the system, which is a huge bonus.

After using iMIS every day for over 3 years now, it has significantly improved our efficiency and productivity. The out of box package was very easy to implement and integrate with our existing tools. I would recommend it to any organization seeking a versatile and adaptable management tool.

Easy to Navigate - The platform is not only easy to navigate but also quite intuitive.  Less tech-savvy users are able to use it with no issues.

Customization - We can tailor the modules for our own needs and use RiSE to formulate queries to produce reports unique to our organization.

Data Extraction - iMIS provides the ability to customize queries to find the exact info we need and not sift through unnecessary data.

Broad Range of Functions - iMIS covers a wide range of useful features - from membership management to case file management to event planning.  

Support - The Customer support team is always ready to respond to an email or jump on a call.  There is a bit of a learning curve when creating queries and producing reports. However, iMIS has an online training center that can assist with all of that as well.

Switching to iMIS our previous, less user-friendly system has been transformative.  Although the implementation process was fast-paced to meet our timeline for the renewal cycle, the support from iMIS's service teams made all the difference.  The training resources available for staff have been abundant and iMIS's service teams have been incredibly helpful throughout the transition.

Compared to our old system, the contrast is remarkable - iMIS brings a new level of ease and efficiency, not only for staff but for our members as well.  The platform's user-friendly design streamlines our operations and enhances the member experience significantly, allowing us to focus on engagement and less on troubleshooting.

As a daily user of iMIS, I’ve come to appreciate its extensive features and the impact it’s had on my day-to-day work. iMIS has streamlined much of our data management and reporting processes and streamlining internal procedures, which is critical for our organization since we handle complex membership information and frequently generate detailed reports.

One of the standout features is the ability to customize reports with ease. The report builder is flexible enough to tailor reports to specific metrics, which has been a game-changer. It also supports a range of integrations, which makes data synchronization seamless with other tools we use. I find the user interface clean and relatively intuitive; once you get used to the setup, navigating through modules becomes second nature.

Another huge benefit is automation. iMIS automates a lot of routine tasks, like membership renewal notifications and event registration tracking. This has saved hours of manual work every week and has also reduced errors, which were common with manual data entry.

iMIS has been a game-changer for our organization’s member management and engagement processes. Although there is a bit of a learning curve, the efficiency gains and the integration with other tools like our LMS have really made a difference. It’s especially useful for tracking member data, automating renewals, and enhancing communication with targeted messaging. I worked with iMIS for 17 years. I started with a minimal desktop version, we had to do a lot of customization that we inhered over the upgrades. Now we are in very difficult situation, we cannot upgrate to cloud version because of these customization.

The certification module is not responding to our needs, so the customization is suppose to continue.

I like the features of the product. However, every time there is a software update, I find a new glitch. It is frustrating and makes me doubt the integrity of the product.

We have been using iMIS as our CRM for nearly 4 years now. Although we were forced into the move, as our previous CRM provider was ending support of their product. The move to iMIS, after an extensive comparison search, was the best thing we could have done. It was a mammoth project which we only had 3 months from contracts being signed to go live, using Connect Systems to aid our in-house team to develop and customise iMIS, the project went smoothly, on-time and on budget.

iMIS has revolutionised our booking process which was entirely manual, donor tracking and reporting is now easier than ever and the learning portal means all of our staff site users have access to all the online training they will need. 

In the years we've been using iMIS we have never doubted the system and continued to develop it to great meet our needs. We can't recommend it enough.

We had an old legacy CRM that was poorly implemented and caused considerable challenges to maintain. The IMIS implementation is very good and we are already seeing the benefits.

We went live with IMIS EMS about a couple of years ago. For the most part, it has been successful for us, but there are exceptions. The plus side is the ease of use for both the Events and RiSE platforms. The ability to manage content for our website within the platform is very helpful and edits and additions can quickly be made within the platform itself. 
The downside is the communities platform. It’s very basic and there are known defects. 

What I love most about iMIS is their regular updates and new features.

I  highly recommend iMIS software to other associations and non-profit organizations looking for a comprehensive and flexible management solution.  The software's capabilities and the efficiencies it brings to our operations make it a worthwhile investment.

Our association has been with ASI over 20 years, so we've grown with them from using iMIS Desktop to now using iMIS EMS. It has changed and evolved with the times. The product is quite expensive and personally, it can be very difficult to navigate if you're a first-time user. I do like the fact that you can manage the website through the RiSE platform, and its ease of use is a plus! I did find that there are a few EMS systems which require you to use a 3rd party to manage the website, and this can be costly especially if you're considering moving to another AMS system. The Events platform is also fairly easy to use, and this is important considering we offer so many educational offerings both classroom and webinars. 

IQAs can be difficult to learn and use especially if you are a beginner. However, with your EMS subscription, there is a learning platform to fall back on, and it's helpful if you quickly need to learn or review how to do something
